Allagash Interlude (2011 vintage) | Chad'z Beer Reviews #662
My first ever Allagash beer. It only took me almost four years and well over 600 episodes to get to one, which is odd because the brewery is from Maine and my beers store does carry their products. It gets even more ironic when you consider that this beer was actually sent to me from Joseph of youtube.com all the way down in DC! The description makes it sound like a great beer: a Belgian strong ale aged in red wine barrels PLUS Brettanomyces for souring. Shauns never had a sour before so

2012 - Sun King Brewery - Indianapolis
We visited Sun King Brewery (sunkingbrewing.com in downtown Indianapolis to show off one of the biggest and best craft breweries in Indiana. Beer sometimes gets a bad rap, especially when compared to the relatively highbrow perception of wine. But in the past decade, craft brewed beer has made a true resurgence into American culture. Great Lakes Christmas Ale | Chad'z Beer Reviews #607
Ive been hearing great things about this beer since 2008, but to this day Great Lakes STILL isnt distributed to Albany (at least not yet). Fortunately, I did a trade with Max Spang of youtube.com just a few days ago and now have the opportunity to try it. Can it possibly live up to the hype? Hop Cast Episode 096: Flossmoor's Hi-Fi Rye and East End Gratitude
